The show was comical and clever, presenting a fantastically diverseperformance that included juggling, magic tricks, clowning and unicycleriding. Everyone, the kids and parents too, were entertained and involved;we all wanted to leave wearing clown noses. -

Your hour long performance with this group was spectacular and captivating for the participants. By the look of their facial expressions and their joyous laughter it showed their wonder and excitement about your solo performance. It is no easy trick to captivate and maintain the interest and likes of a group like this age level for a full hour. The interactive nature of your performance certainly held the entire audience spellbound for the duration of the show. The children's participation in learning to juggle was a fitting end to a wonderful and mind-blowing show. -David Sing, St. John's.
Thank you so very much for making my daughter's birthday such a memorable event! Everyone, young and old, is still talking about how it was the 'bestest' party ever.

My eight year old son and five year old daughter loved the magic, the music and the general silliness! My son usually doesn't sit still for anything, but at the Abracadabra Illusion Show, he was entranced!

It was a night of magic at Irene's Pub. The Abracadabra Card Magic Show, with magician and illusionist Peter Duchemin packed the house on Wednesday March 26th. It proved to be an evening that will not soon be forgotten. The mind bending, and spoon bending tricks of this very talented magician held an audience captive for two and a half hours with barely a voice to be heard, but that of Peter's, and the oohs, aahs and bursts of laughter that came from the spell bound onlookers. Peter attended both Magic School and Clown school and brings both perspectives into his unique acts. He says Magicians take themselves way too seriously, that is why at any given moment in his fast paced, dynamic, and intriguing show he is apt to burst into hilarious comedic acts and repartee with his audience. As one of those audience members, I near fell over when I agreed to be Peter's assistant for his much anticipated spoon bending trick. Standing only two feet from the man , I watched in stunned awe and disbelief as I witnessed the handle of the spoon being to spiral in Peter's hands. Of course I KNOW that it's not really magic, but standing there watching it happen right before my eyes... well. Many thanks to Peter Duchemin for a fabulous evening, and of course to Frank Johnson , owner of Irene's pub, for hosting the show.
